Kristin Hoover Gentry is a national award-winning 2S Choctaw artist, curator, and writer who uses her work to celebrate cultural preservation, storytelling, and Indigenous resilience. Working across printmaking, painting, and mixed media, her art integrates ancestral symbolism, traditional floral patterns from Southeastern tribal culture, and contemporary design. Gentry is the force behind KreativeNative, an art and apparel brand that creates size-inclusive, non-binary pieces. Her recognized work has been exhibited widely and received honors from organizations like SWAIA, Cherokee Art Market and Chickasaw Nation’s art markets. She also champions Indigenous voices as a curator and community advocate.
